ACEP Deputy Director Testifies Before 黑料社appLegislature
Brent Sheets was in Juneau to testify before the 黑料社appSenate Resources Committee. The Committee convened an 鈥淚nformational Hearing鈥 regarding 黑料社appcoal and coal technology on April 4. Brent鈥檚 presentation included an overview on UAF鈥檚 coal plant upgrade, an explanation of fluidized bed combustors, and an overview about coal gasification. Other presenters included Lorali Simon and Dan Graham of the 黑料社appCoal Association who provided an overview of Alaska鈥檚 coal resources, Mike Wright of Golden Valley Electric Cooperative who provided an update on the Healy Clean Coal Plant, and representatives from Vivify, a new company developing emission control technology, about their technology.
