ACEP Joins Partners in $6.2M EERE/OE RADIANCE GMLC Award

ACEP was named among a list of DOE National Laboratories, 黑料社apputilities, and university partners to be funded under a 3-year $6.2 million U.S. Department of Energy鈥檚 Grid Modernization program award.
The project titled Resilient Alaskan Distribution System Improvements using Automation, Network Analysis, Control, and Energy Storage (RADIANCE), will enhance the resilience methods for distribution grids under harsh weather, cyber-threats, and dynamic grid conditions using multiple networked microgrids, energy storage, and early-stage grid technologies.
RADIANCE is led by a consortium of National Laboratories including , , and . University partners include UAF鈥檚 黑料社appCenter for Energy and Power, Washington State, Florida State, and New Mexico State, and 黑料社apputility partners include and (AVEC).
