In early September, engineers developing standards applicable to renewable energy integration will offer a workshop in 黑料社appthrough the .
for the IEEE-1547-2018 workshop on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 4-5, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily at the 黑料社appCommunications Business Technology Center in Anchorage.
The registration fee is $50 for IEEE members, and $75 for non-IEEE members.
The institute developed the standards in 2003, and a lot has changed since then. The high penetration of solar energy distributed generation in California and Hawaii demanded changes in how interconnects need to interact with the electric power systems, so was revised to accommodate the new requirements.
